Siemens has announced its partnership with Daimler Truck AG to develop an end-to-end digital engineering solution. The partnership aims to optimize the entire development process for Daimler’s commercial vehicles, from concept to production. The Vectron locomotives ordered by Railpool have a maximum power at wheel of 6.4 megawatts and a top speed of 200 km/h.
