Atos delivers Next-Generation Employee Experience for EY

Atos today announces that it will provide a Next-Generation Global Employee Experience to EY, one of the largest global professional services organizations. The 7+ year contract will see Atos personalize and improve the IT experience for more than 300,000 EY people through its Proactive Experience Center, a team of dedicated experts, supported by advanced tooling and processes, driving towards the highest levels of proactive, pre-emptive and automated employee experience seen in the sector to date. This new contract reinforces Atos' position as a leading enabler in the new frontier of work and employee experience.

eBus charging solution from Siemens paves way for climate-neutral bus transport in Zurich

Siemens has been awarded a contract from the Zurich Public Transport Authority (VBZ) to supply, install and commission 45 eBus charging stations, type Sicharge UC. The charging infrastructure will be installed at the Hardau bus garage, where 45 new eBuses will be supplied with power in the future. The installation is scheduled to go into operation in early 2022.

Brussels will ban diesel cars by 2030 and gasoline cars by 2035

The regional Brussels government announced on June 25 a new ban on fossil fuel-powered cars in region that will come into effect over the next 14 years. New sales of diesel cars will be prohibited 2030, and new gasoline car sales will be illegal in 2035. The move is in accordance with existing efforts in Brussels to reduce pollution, and the EU goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions 2050.

DB Regio Bayern and Siemens Mobility sign contract for 31 regional trains

DB Regio Bayern has ordered 31 regional trains from Siemens Mobility. The trains will serve on routes between Munich, Passau and Regensburg. Siemens Mobility will be delivering 25 double-decker Desiro HC trainsets and six single-decker Mireo trainsets. Passenger service with the new trains is planned to begin with the timetable change in December 2024.
